This summer has seemed sooo busy!!
Bastian has been growing like a weed and doing new things every day! I am a month behind on posting some pics from some summer fun he’s been having with friends, but I wanted to put them up anyway.
Last month we spent quite a bit of time in the water. But then we realized it was really aggravating Bastian’s eczema, so we haven’t gone back in yet. Or at least we’re sticking to fresh water baby pools.
Eczema update: Things seem to be getting better. I spent the last two weeks doing a dairy free diet, but awesome as I am, realized I wasn’t doing it fully. Somehow butter didn’t register as dairy. Yeah, i’m good, i know. But he looks good. I started back on dairy fully, and haven’t noticed any change in him. Maybe he’s outgrowing it slowly?? We see the doc tomorrow for our 6 month check up, so I will find out more then.

Then we had a big pool day with Kate & Hendrix and Tara & Grayley. It is just too much fun watching these babies grow. I’ve known Tara since I was 16, so it’s really neat to be able to watch our little ones interact. 
Kate and I were daring mamas and decided it was time to dunk the kiddos. Both of our husbands are really counting on being able to surf with the boys, haha, so we knew we had the job of making sure they get used to water. And they actually did pretty good!! No crying, just the expected “what the heck just happened??!!!??”
